I was surprised by the 40% of men caregivers! That was a lot more than I expected. Maybe I have too dim a sense of how much men step up to care for relatives, probably based on the fact that I keep hearing how they don't do as much in the home as women do. Very interesting--both about men and about my expectations.

yeah, it is a surprising number! though because I knew it already was bummed that it didn't go up at all in ten years.
I think men don't often identify themselves as caregivers, and will even go as far as keeping it hidden.
