Band society, yes! Around 30 to 40 people living as a group in interdependence.

thanks for sharing! so curious as to why that particular number? is that how humans lived in the ancient past? the maximum amount we can adequately care for -- even if we can care about many more?

A number from 20 to 30 is the usual size for band societies, and that's based on economic factors, social factors, ease of mobility and organisation (eg conflict meditations, rituals). I'd bloody love to live like that. Look at co-housing every so often but never actually did it ... Yet?
